Ron Paul is too simple minded. The U.S. constitution is becoming outdated. Is it something to hold on too and live by? Absolutely, but to not evolve it is ludicrous.

The founding fathers could have never envisioned the situation and population that the mighty U.S. is facing right now. Those who will not adapt will perish.

If we the people believe it is important enough to "adapt" then why don't we amend the Constitution?

amend it by changing the 4th amendment if you believe we need warrentless searches to protect us against terrorism.

amend by changing the 2nd amendment if you don't believe we should have the individual right to protect ourselves

amend article 1 section 8 to give congress power to regulate education, what you grow on your own land, medicine...

** 9 trillion dollars in DEBT ... MONEY or wealth has to come from somwhere to PAY OFF THIS debt ... IRAQ -- HUGE OIL reserves = WEALTH ... SCIENTISTS said 250.000.000.000 BARRELS of OIL. WHEN converted to USA DOLLARS = around 30 TRILLION DOLLARS . AND EVERY day is growing . SINCE USA dollar is GOING down.
