excactly man it wasnt vivs fault and good thing viv did come in after steves death because he fitted in very quick and did u no phil was gonna leave the band after steves death thinking no 1 could play guitar along with him like steve did, vivian fit the spot and phil stayed with leppard thank god , we already lost 1 memeber we cant loose another

@drkev that's how I was with Avenged sevenfold's drummer's death last year. I didn't listen to them "at the time" but i was kinda shocked. Although i don't really listen to def leppard "as" much as I used to, it's still amazingly fun to put in that cd every once in a while!! :D Steve Clark will always be appreciated bro! :D

@shockwave2468 I remember being on an evening rush hour train in Dublin city, with my then soon-to-be-girlfriend at the time, when I saw the headline on the evening paper of Steve's death, the whole front page as I recall. I wasn't a 'huge' Leppard fan but it really struck me and it's a moment I haven't forgotten. It's nice to think that nearly 20 years later, he's still being appreciated.
