He is from Louisville KY.. The kentuckiana blues society gives a sylvester weaver award every year.

This song went on to become much better known as the "Steel guitar rag" by Leon McAuliff as a lead player on the Bob Wills Texas Playboys. I love listening to this recording and the interplay of the two musicians.

i think that robert johnson has overshadowed many people that deserve to be better recognized.. like kokomo arnald, barbacue bob.. and others..at least youtube is helping me to hear the real greats(not like robert johnson INST a great but still)
