In this video students from CK McLatchy in Sacramento, California spend time studying Leatherback sea turtles on a remote beach in Costa Rica. Pacuare Nature Reserve, located on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica is the fourth most important nesting beach for Leatherback sea turtles. Each night of the nesting season, students from Ecology Project International patrol the beach alongside researchers, relocating nests and camouflaging turtle tracks, giving the turtles the best possible chance for survival.
