NJT 1989 Fixible Metro-B #3109 in West New York on the 181, this bus is going to the George Washington Bridge Bus Station in New York on 178th street in Manhattan from the Bergenline Avenue Light Rail Station in Union City on 48th/49th Street. Sadly this bus and all of their Metro-B Buddies have been retired since February, it's a bittersweet ride on an old-school Flex.

  • Are all the 1989 Flxs retired yet, or how many are left? I still don't like those NABIs.

  • There aren't too many 1989 Flex's left, sorry to say.

  • Okay; I actually thought all of 1989s are gone already- I gotta hurry to catch them- What cities are they can be found at? So all the 1994 Flxs are still active?

  • The 1994s are active except for #1774 and #1775 from Broadway IBOA which were retired, ride the Metro-Ds while you can, because the NABIs will be coming in earnest starting next year.

  • Sadly, they're just about gone.

  • Sorry, the name Flxible is a re-spelling of the traditional word "flexible." Originally, they were called the Flexible Company but ended up dropping the first "e" to register the name as a trademark.
