Shooing my Canon 5D with battery grip, an 8gb SanDisk Ultra II and 50mm 1.8, the shots were at something like 1/640th, ISO 400, autofocus off.

Shot this on my garage roof cause awesome light was dropping fast, and I figured it would be different than everyone firing their cameras on tripods indoors.. Also I got to go on climbing adventures!

On the way down from climbing decided to get a couple of dolly type shots of this tree, so instead of filming it in 640x480 I used the glorious 3fps of the 5D and fired off 500 shots manually focusing, but in 4368x2912 - 4K! It was evidently really difficult to keep a steady shot when you've gotta move reallly slowly, but it was awesome to finally shoot full frame video looking THROUGH the viewfinder with a precision focus screen (ee-s) as opposed to squinting at a 3" screen... Wish I could shoot film [with a viewfinder] all the time!

Also, I tried the tree shots at 12fps but they looked super jerky/trippy in Premiere, probably cause of the inbetween frames it was making up or something, so I redid them in Quicktime Pro at 25fps, now it looks like old school 4:3 8mm! The part that looks like a cut when the titles come up was because of about 30 slight out of focus frames I decided to cut, but the movie doesnt match 30 frames later so I used it as a bit of a transition/clean set of frames for the short titles... That part was another 8mm period/70s looking thing! And that's me at the end holding my parents lame Sony DSC-S90, I even graded that footage with Magic Bullet looks lol!
