  • the crisis, if there is one, is the product of the greed of those in the health care industry. it is only possible due to the ignorance and fear of the public, who permit those in the industry to use them. they have the power to correct the problem they created, simply by retaining their money, and forcing healthy competition into the health care arena as is in other sectors. this will compel efficiency and lower prices. socialism is never the answer. it always discourages efficiency.

  • Jason, Very powerful and important lyrics. The melody also goes so well with lyrics. Our US Healthcare is in one terrible mess; worlds best healthcare? Bullcrap, we are #37. I too am a songwriter for affordable healthcare. My old friend Martins said, "of all the forms of inequality, injustice in healthcare is the most shocking and inhumane." MLK was right. AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE IS A RIGHT!!! Hai / Juan

  • This is really bad but I needed it for my civics class. Have to find lyrics on a crisis in Canada.

  • hey jason this is carmen. this song is great!

  • This song is genius! It's so obvious it's disturbing, which makes the content very familiar and therefore sad. We can all relate to the lyrics. I noticed a previous comment "Michael Moore, are you listening?", but better yet "G.W., are YOU listening!?!" Send this to EVERYONE you know...they'll relate!

  • This IS great. Please send it to your Congressman or woman, and mention HR676, a bill already introduced IN congress that provides universal (but not socialized) health care for all residents of the US. It was referred to subcommittee by the Republican leadership (imagine that!) presumably because it would end their contributions from Big Pharma and the HMO lobbyists.

And GO SEE SICKO, by Michael Moore

  • this song is brilliant, the lyrics are haunting. Micheal Moore, are you listening?
