Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is an upcoming video game being developed by EA's Bright Light Studio and published by Electronic Arts. It is going to release on June 30, 2009, coinciding with the film's new mid-2009 release date.The game will be released on Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Xbox 360, and Mobile platforms.

Return to Hogwarts to help Harry survive his sixth year. You will have a chance to engage in exciting wizard duels, mix magical ingredients in potion class and take to the air as the Seeker of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. You may even get sidetracked by Ron's romantic entanglements as journey torwards a dramatic climax and discover the identity of the Half-Blood Prince.

Half-Blood Prince will feature the exploration of Hogwarts and casting spells on objects around the school, similar to its predecessor Order of the Phoenix . The game will also include multiplayer games, classes, different times of day, Quidditch, Wizard Duels and Potion making.

Plot:
In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Dumbledore prepares Harry for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching as Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information.
