http://www.beadsdirect.co.uk/beading-wire/beadalon-german-style-wire/ We'll show you how to set a pendant or stone using wire wrapping. This project uses Beadalon German style wire in half round and square. The wire is easy to manipulate and it neatly sets a stone with an easy method. Just follow the steps and you can create a gorgeous wire wrapped pendant too. If you like this video, don't forget to subscribe to Beads Direct TV for more!

  • Thank you for sharing this! I've just started having taken 3 classes but this was better being able to watch and then trying it. You have a wonderful teacher quality!

  • @reikilovelight Thank you! :) *blushes* glad to hear it helped xx

  • Fab tutorial, thank you! Can I ask - does it have to be square wire/half round wire or could I get away with all round?

  • @suzyb14 thanks for your comment. You could achieve something like this with a normal round craft wire. It is a good way to practice! It does work better with square and half round though becuase the square sets the stone nicely and the half round is the right shape for securely holding the square wires tightly together. Let us know how you get on! xx

  • God bless you Darling for this very informative and wonderfully creative tutorial...You really have no idea how much I will benefit from this...I cannot thank you enough...Cheers!!!..:D

  • can you show a tree of life pendant done this way? Please!

  • After watching this video I when outside and picked up some small stones from my back yard. I washed them and put same fabric glitter. I then followed your great steps. The pendants turned out beautiful. Thank you for the fabulous idea!

  • It's interesting. I've been watching Dale Cougar Armstrong in one of the Jewel School DVDs and she makes it much more technical and exact. I had no idea it could work without using tools for every step and marking everything before you do it.

  • the audio on this is really not good - too far away from mic, and has a tunnel effect - hope to hear better from you next time
