I saw him in Porland Maine, at a festival in the world traditions tent, with Kathy. It was Aug 11, 1989. I've ALWAYS LOVED his songs & yodeling. But I was SO SHOCKED when I heard him. He gave me goosebumps!!! I was so estatic!! I went back to the tent to get his songbook & got his sig TWICE. I even had Kathy take a pic of him & I together which I will always CHERISH!
Thank you for standing up to your Dad, he still deserves that, even if he isn't with us anymore!!!

Slim was my dad...he passed away in 2000 and I miss him ...you are of course allowed to make idiot remarks but the fact is that he touched many lives with his music and probably all u three will be remembered for are your idiot comments..

Slim was a great cowboy singer,he is still the no.1 yodeler. is there any video's of him on stage singing?
