  • To increase the contrast I closed down the aperture until it was very small. It does the trick but leaves the halo. I'm only using fairly cheap equipment here, and a simple point-and-press camera!

  • Why does Your phase contrast make such an annoying 'halo' around objects? I've been working with PhC many times before and never encountered that effect. I am aspiring to buy a phase contrast set myself and curious for all information about it form those using it :)
