Looks like the Sikh Inquisition to me. How is this scene different from what Galileo had to go through 400 years ago. Legitimate scholars are being repressed while the illiterate run amok claiming blasphemy. We should encourage scholarship and scholarly discourse instead of scaring any future scholars of dire consequences.

It's funny I don't think people know what they are talking about. You can see from what is going on that the people around causing the commotion are uneducated. There is no point arguing with fools, even Bani states this! I suggest that the book is read before anyone makes assumptions about what they think they know. Niddar Singh & Parmjit Singh has being carrying out 10 years of research, we should all see that facts before making a opinion.

@Ranjeet1469Singh is widely known that the 10th Guru did hunt animals. Its not known if the 10th Guru took phang but his Akali warrior's did. The Akali's were known during the 1800's during Ranjit Singh's time in doing jatka..and they ate meat in times of war. And when it comes to starvation a sikh is allowed to eat anything to survive, when the first Sikh Holocost happened in 1700's, the Sikhs ate meat when they hid in jungles. However a Sikh can only eat meat as a last resort.

@Ranjeet1469Singh you may be a gursikh, your grandfather may be also, that does not give you the right to interpretate what is and what is not written in the Gurbani, also the gurbani is not written by one person, it has verses in it from many sources, so like i said not all the gurus ate meat, drank alcohol, some did some didnt, the Gurbani may not have even been complete, at that time, by the time of completion the gurus( at least some of them may have passed on!

@Ranjeet1469Singh MR Ranjit singh, it is a well known fact that Guru Gobind Singh Ji played shikaar(the hunting of animals), it is also known that before going into battle, the gurus did consume some alcohol/pang, they also ate meat, maybe not all of them but some of them did, you can not justify the cause of sikhi by lying, facts are facts, there is no point in adjusting the truth to suit ourselves, when the gurus were fighting against the moghuls, killing took place, humans are also animals.
