from what i know, there are quite a number of lecturer in NTU who are not Singaporean. Some singaporean students in NTU would also have a hard time figuring out what the lecturer is trying to say.

What a misleading video. What you have filmed is just Singaporeans who have different English ACCENT. They may be speaking proper ENGLISH. It's just that their ACCENT makes it harder for you to understand. It could be influenced by their own language. If you say they speak SINGLISH, it should have things like lah, no what, where got. These can be compared to an American who uses USA slangs such as sup, yall (as in you all) and etc. I bet even a French like you have a different English ACCENT.

Le premier professeur est Singapourien, mais le 2e est un etranger comme toi, il n'est pas Singapourien. AU Singapour, il y a trop d'etranger et pas tous les asiatiques sont Singapouriens SVP SVP...... OH!, le dernier n'est pas Singapourien non plus! SVP, pas tous les asiatique que t'ai vu au singapour sont singapourien... C'est comme un blanc en france, peut etre il est Australien aussi.
