i actually don't read any cue cards, mr. smarty pants geek squad ;) ! i just create an outline of topics to cover and then i talk off the top of my head. sometimes i have to do a few takes, but i do the whole podcast myself using my isight, imovie and livetype. and i DO consider myself a geek, thank you very much! lol. cheers! geekgirl

@DashboredRich and just because you work for the geek squad doesn't make you a geek. If anything, you know much less than you're making yourself out to be. I know the kind of self-righteous, arrogant morons who work in the geek squad and they've screwed up a hell of a lot more computers, than they've actually helped. I've worked in I.T. for 13 years, I know about people like you. Fuck you for thinking you're better than someone else.

@10chadjordan01 - i've never worked for geek squad, but thx for taking the time to comment. i just love technology & also happen to run digital strategy & produce websites for a few tv networks. the point of this blog was to help people not fear technology & see it as "cold" or "heartless" but instead, embrace it to make their lives better. & i don't think i'm better than anyone. i'm just a flawed human, like everyone else, who loves what she loves & shares when she can. cheers!

@GeekGirlPodcast Some people can't get their mind around the fact that being a geek is a personality trait, having not a thing to do with physical appearance. Just because someone is naturally attractive, doesn't mean they can't be a geek. In fact, that assumption just might be a little prejudice by nature.
