George of the Jungle was an American animated television series produced by Jay Ward and Bill Scott, who created Rocky & Bullwinkle. It ran for 17 episodes on Saturday mornings from September 9 to December 30, 1967, on the American TV network ABC.
The theme song was written by the team of Stan Worth and Sheldon Allman
The song is from the cd Rerun Rock: Superstars Sing Television Themes.

I have to admit, I hated this at first ( as a dedicated non-zeppelin fan, how could I not), but when ya threw in the immigrant song...I just lost it. That should have run through the whole bit. Kudos to you, sir.

Thanks JennLovesMusic! I bought the cd this song is on at an independently owned cd, vinyl, and casette store back in the nineties. I'm sure its available for purchase or download online somewhere.
