TRU - Shortcut compilation (Finish 1st level without killing kraken and others)

This video contains various shortcuts I found but haven't seen on Youtube or anywhere else yet.

The first one is for everybody who hates the idea of killing the kraken in Mediterranean See. Why the hell do we have to do this? He was sitting there for ages and then comes Lara and he has to die. I didn't like this idea and searched a possiblity of getting onte the platform level in this level before killing him. And I made it :)
Thanks to Riku, who told me that you don't need to stand on the invisible platform to get into the niche, leading to the krakenroom.
After triggering the cutscene just play, as if you just entered this area. Solve the cratepuzzle, take the gauntlet and get out of the cave :)

The second one is a quite obviious shortcut. Maybe there is already a video of it. It's just an easier and faster way to get to the closing doors, after turning the level.

The third one is just a demonstration of how dumb the developers are. But I would say you can't take it as shortcut, as it requires 4 relics, as said AND the easiest mode of the game. So it's nothing for real speedrunners ^^
But you can see quite well that the game wasn't tested enough. You can't see it, but they just put a trigger onto the fire which takes 1.5 healthbars of Lara, as they didn't thought that somebody could try getting over there with two healthbars, after having found all the relics. (The same trigger can be found in Thailand, when jumping onto Thors hands. With full health it's possible and you can get onto his head :) )

The fourth is also a tiny one. Should be self explanating.

The fifth is a mixture of the great grapple shortcut of niepanh, which can be found on his channel and the death abuse shortcut by xRikux89. The only thing I did was putting them together and posting the fastest way through this hall.

The sixth shortcut was found by accident, as I was just trying to kill Lara :)
But then I realised, that it's really great as Jarekhanzelka's find only works on PC.

So I found an alternate route using a grenade glitch. Of course it's not that fast and much harder than jarek's find, but it works on every (Next-Gen) Console and is quite funny to do. It requires the best timing and a precise jump. You don't need to get out the binoculars, thats just to show you, where exactly to throw the grenade. After throwing count the noises the grenade makes. At the 8th do a swandive into the direction of the grenade (but a bit more to the right) and hope that you'll get hit by the explosion from above :) The only bad thing about this shortcut is that you'll have to run through the labyrinth.

The seventh and last shortcut wasn't only found by me. I don't know which video it was but I found a video on Youtube showing that you can get out of the water in Helheim. I really liked this video and so I decided, if it helps in any way. And it does. You can skip of about two minutes.

Being honest I didn't find the "out of the water - shortcut", but just the possibility of getting oob. But glad you liked it :)
