Epiphone Les Paul Appetite For Destruction Video Review and Test

Many of you have requested that I do a review of my new Epiphone Les Paul Appetite For Destruction Guitar. I had it shipped to Guitar Center and I received it in about 4 days. It cost $999 and it is well worth the money. Now that i have had the guitar for about a month and a half, I have had a chance to really get to play around with it. It is a nice upgrade from my previous guitar (epiphone Les Paul Standard) and the tone is noticeably better. The guitar has Slash's signature Seymour Duncan Alnico II (2) Pro Slash Humbucker Pickups in it as well as Orange Drop capacitors which play a big role in Slash's tone. The finish is amazing and this is a one of a kind guitar that you can't go wrong with. All of the hardware is essentially the same as the Gibson model..... The only big difference is the name on the headstock. My main amp is a Marshall JMP MKII but it blew up on me so in the video i am using a Blackstar HT Stage 60..... It is suprisingly a very good amp. the tone is killer in both the amp and guitar. In the clean test i play "Dont Cry" - Guns 'n Roses. In the Overdrive (crunch) I play "Back From Cali" - Slash. In the overdrive 2 channel I play "Paradise City" - Guns 'n Roses. And in the overdrive 2 channel with a BOSS FS-S1 boost pedal I play "The Godfather Theme" - Slash. I am using a Sony HDR-CX150.
