Volume is way too low on this video. I personally use G Apps all the time and promote it to my clients. This video would be great too to show them if the audio was a little more in line with the other Google "About Us" videos, for example the one by Matt Cutts is just perfect!

@daengbo My point is not to discourage users to not use this product my point was just to bring awareness of potential new threats not to shut down the idea. I think it is a useful tool. Just was kinda wary of security issues. However it may be more secure than my laptop. It was a thought that crossed my mind that I wanted to express. You are welcome to disagree with my thoughts as I maybe wrong.

@daengbo my point is that your info being lost on your own computer or usb drive is your own fault. but losing your info on the internet is exposing yourself to new posible risk. Just because it hasn't happen yet doesn't mean that it won't. You are aware of corporate espinoge or hackers in general. Ulitmately it's a trust issue..and what is too say that google may not have a employees that maybe do shadiness. No corporation is free of that issue. Internet data storage cannot be perfectly secure

@Tfmusicmaker Do you believe that the sensitive info on your personal machine is more secure than it would be on Google's servers? How proactive are you in protecting your machine? How often do you scour the logs on your machine? Etc.

This = Chromebook. I don't know why people don't see the concept.

@Tfmusicmaker - there are no known incidents of anyone hacking google's severs to access a company's information. There are however, plenty of known incidents of people losing USB drives or laptops containing confidential information. I know where I am more comfortable keeping my data.

Not to be a skeptic but what about hackers and sensitive info.. if all your info is on the web and someone somehow accesses it then you are screwed.. Also what if the site crashes and you lose important info.. I'm not copecetic with internet info and how people can get into it . However if you don't have sensative info then this might be useful .. just giving a both sides perspective..

Good news for business, bad news for MS and system/network admins.

Sooooo..... About the Chrome Web APP store... Why do some of their browser "apps" work only like bookmarks?? For example, the Gmail "app" only takes you to your email account online (unless you install the "Offline Google Mail" app) and is rendered completely worthless without an internet connection. Therefore, it is absolutely stupid to make such a so-called "app" unless the developer intends to give it some offline features. Only then would I make any use out of it.
google willed it to be made, and it was.
