So Mars Hill has had this master plan it's just been executing for the last 15 years, right? Ha, hardly. In fact, no one had any idea how big God's plan for the church actually was.

This clip is excerpted from the God's Work, Our Witness Documentary, which premiered on December 4, 2011 in all Mars Hill churches and online. It's a story of how God was incredibly faithful to a group of people who had no idea what they were doing—except that they were committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ and to building and serving his church.

  • Just like when god had a plan for Tomás de Torquemada, he was a fifteenth century Spanish Dominican friar, first Grand Inquisitor in Spain's movement to restore Christianity among its populace in the late fifteenth century. In modern times, his name has become synonymous with the Christian Inquisition’s horror, religious bigotry, and cruel fanaticism. So next time you pray think of Torquemada’s heritage to the new world and how thousands have died in the name of your sick religion

  • @dancTDC So help me understand, why do Christians neglect the very important fact that the Inquisition is fundamental part of modern Christianity? Sure you can blame it all in the Catholics, but still both belief systems are based in the Bible

  • @dancTDC judging: The cognitive process of reaching a decision or drawing conclusions. Therefore my conclusion of your comment is that you are a moron!

  • @gahver That is not judging unless something happened to you and you are really offended in that way.

  • @gahver LOL generalizing wont help your arguement. to say all christianity is based o nthe inquisition is missing the point that we christians are hypocrites. We all are hypocrites. I admit that. we never say we are perfect because that is hypocritical as well. And define judging. I think what you are thinking of is totally different. Judging means to see the heart and talk about that. Thats God's job. But in love, I want to edify and help you see some more stuff.

  • @dancTDC I think you missed the point of Mirewood’s post. But I could be wrong. When you simply say “read this chapter!” and offer no explanations as to why it counters the problem its not helpful. Personally I don’t see how Romans 1 does anything to help your claim.

Nor Do I agree with some of the claims made in it.

  • @Mirewood read romans 1.

  • @brajamtho 757 well if u like to argue let's argue (respectfully of course).

  • @TheDezzydez

    I need to argue.

  • @gahver great answer dude, typical from a fanatic...
