Hi, thank you for uploading this image. I am Egyptian, and Horus is my favorite. He is the Son of Osiris who were killed by God Set to marry his wife, Goddess Isis. Horus is referred to many names such as; the Avenger, and the Guardian. The Eye of Horus is taken for protection by Horus himself.

k yes this is the eye of Horus. He was an egyptian god, son of Ra the sun god and he was represented in egyptian culture by a falcon. Many artifacts have been uncovered with this symbol on them because they were worn by the preists who worshiped Horus. Looking over this image i can tell it wasn't drawn it was taken of google in all likelyness and then the original backing was taken away in the program paint and replaced with black

did you draw this?

it's just a painting and not an artifact... and I'm pretty sure it's not ancient

A higher principle you say? Do you have a feeling of what that principle may be?
Is this an artifact from someone's tomb ?

A symbol that has been recognized through the ages as a symbol of power the Eye of Wedjat . But like all symbols its meaning changes to whom may perceive it at any given moment. So I wonder Hryzunik what meaning do you place upon the Eye? For the eye in many forms seems to call to you.

I know that this symbol has many different interpretations but to me it is a sort of representation of spirituality and some higher principle, it is so magical to look into the eye.
