Sure, I know I'd like a Single shot weapon like the powerhead, instead of a multiple shot modern weapon... you know just incase they don't want to be poked with a stick and move...

Wait maybe you could attached it to a sword, and maybe make it have a trigger or something incase impact wasn't possible... oh wait they did that a few hundred years ago...

But your right I'd like to see an movie with an army of powerheads, and a modern equip'd army, Thinking it would be more of a short film.

however powerheads are loud so I have difficulty seeing were it might be more useful than a normal gun, compare this to the pneumatic stunner that the hitman Anton used in no country for old men, it was silent and left no traceable bullet. however a similar glove gun device was used in inglorious bastards, the gun was trigger when you punched the victim, in the movie the victim was punched in the face, in reality to would be used on the belly to muffle the sound

powerheads would probably be cooler than regular guns in certain contexts (i.e. Inglourious Basterds type situations), but indeed probably not more useful. realism will always take a back seat to cool.

i was thinking it'd be pretty sweet to have some stick-fighting sequence in an Equilibrium-type scifi/gunfu movie, where the sticks have powerheads on one/both end, so you have a normal stick fight punctuated with bad guys exploding.

i was hoping to specifically promote full-length bangsticks like in the watermelon clip, built for higher calibres, but there were time constraints.
