@dreaminlotte Thank you! The Christian bible, like every other holy book around the globe, was written by men, for men, and tells of a drama intended to alleviate fears, & create a 'flock' of followers to carry on some moral cause. I TOTALLY respect your right to believe what you choose, but "historical truth"? Only if you want to include George Washington and the cherry tree saga. It's a good story, and you're blessed to be able to belief it. I feel it makes life a little easier to take!

@dreaminlotte Thanks for the reply ... I get ur point! It's probably a bogus story anyway, but it makes for a really entertaining musical. Like JC Superstar, the lead man 'sells' it with his good looks and charm. According to the story, Mary Magdeline couldn't keep her hands off Jesus as well, but she WAS a prostitute, and the actual person upon whom the legends are based was probably a homosexual, so who knows! Even the trapped Chilean miners were not sexless for all that time!

I just saw him at the fox theatre in Atlanta and he did an amazing job

@tenor12notes The original or "real" Joseph was probably an ugly, filthy man with rotting teeth and a nose that wouldn't quit. But on stage, the lead always has to be beautiful and perfect ... Donny was too teethy, and Anthony is a little short, but both fit, closely enough, the 'handsome leading man' role!

@wickedLAcastlover I bet ... you just wish he'd put the blocks to you!
