(May 24)Authorities in Germany have taken custody of this 7-month-old baby whose parents put him up for sale on eBay.The ad was posted on the German version of the site and the little boy was being posted for one euro, which is just a little more than a buck 50.This woman stumbled upon the ad and called police, saying it was quite apparent a real baby was being sold and not some doll.The ad itself states the child is 28 inches long and is too loud for his parents.Police say the mother insists the whole thing was a joke, but they note she ended her posting with bold letters asking for serious bidders only.No offers were made and eBay soon took the posting down.Police say the parents could face up to five years in prison for child trafficking. ___ ___, The Associated Press.

Thats just wrong i dont care if its fake,a joke or whatever, If people cant handle or deal with there responsiblities then they shouldnt have kids at all if there going to this kind of crap. Yeah people might say oh its there kid they can do what they want with it but what if your parents did that to you? and you grew up never knowing why you dont have your real parents and it would make them feel like they werent ment to be. its beause people need to grow up and deal with it, ITS LIFE!.

Well, not exactly. When ever these stories come up I think of what it would be like if there were baby stores which were liscenced and regulated and only sold to individuals who passed a background check. The only problem with this idea is your dealing with human beings, not puppies or hamsters.
