These sight word cards (MorphoPhonic Faces) picture the first sound of the word using a Phonic Face and then the meaning of the word drawn into the remaining letters (the first stage of sight word learning when children learn "look" because the o's look like eyeballs). By picturing all of the Dolch words this way, this 3 year old easily figures out the principle of word recognition in just a few minutes.
