@msknight5 Thanks. I look forward to hearing your take on this. I wanted to tackle the fist one because I thought it was fundamental to the direction a person's questioning would go and how open a person would be to self discovery from that point.

@Imgoing2LoveYou Thanks, Rich. You said that better than I did. I do get the impression that religion goes a great distance to styfle that investigation by giving false perspectives on the self. They create an illusion of the self as something static and fixed, in my view; I feel many of us are "victimized" by it.

Once you recognize the I. Philosophically speaking its all over, you now know the burden of becoming the I. The I that makes you the I. Once you recognize and acknowledge the problematic I, well then everything is for the sake of argument the I perspective of life your life in general. Great video Richard.

A better question to ask is "Why am I, the way that I am?" a question like that can carry deeply into meditation and can understand as much of "that" question has the potential to change you for the better, if one desires it. This question also creates a birth of wisdom, because the difference between a mature mind an immature mind is this: A mature mind knows themselves and continues to learn about themselves, an immature mind does not, and does not put forth effort.
