Another Numark ns7 defect

Ns7 unit 1: after a week with me, it just stopped working due to the defective diode.

Sent to the dealer again and after two weeks I got the unit back. After an hour of light use the unit died again with the same defect.

Shipped to the dealer again. After bugging them for a replacement, I got a new one 2-3 weeks later.

Ns7 unit 2: hotcue 2 sometimes works, but most of the time it doesn't. Contacted the dealer and they didn't reply. Never abused the buttons actually hardly use them that's why I'm just noticing it now.

Shipping back and forth was paid for by me. Contacted numark support several times and they NEVER replied to my emails!

Update: local numark dealer, numark support still not getting back to me. How's that for customer service.

Yup I am on a MacBook pro unibody. The problem isn't with the computer as you can see the number 2 hotcue just doesn't work as it should.

Turn up your speakers, you can hear the actual button click.

The serato itch forum is basically for itch problems. This is obviously a hardware defect. What I hate it that I just spent good money on this and I can't even get them to fix it!

I have to agree with djgregrrr. Shame, the ns7 could have been really great.

I have an NS-7. No problems out of the box.. been doing heavy gigs couple times a week, a lot of travel.. Every feature is running perfect... So I guess you guys are having bad luck

im having problems with mine also...

my right volume control on my mixer goes out sometimes and the music doesnt play when i fade it in. so it fucks me up at my gigs sometimes!

im considering on sending this shit back as soon as my manufactur warranty is over so i can get a brand new one. and then selling that shit.

that way i can get technics and run sl4. cuz this shit is ridiculous.

i love the system but so much bullshit to deal with. it spazzes out sometimes also...

My shit works perfect and i abuse cuz im on it so much,,, ALWAYS clicking the cue buttons, had my ns7 for months and months and it still works like new

I think your sample is initially blank. can not hear anything that is not cut well

I know the VCI 300 in prone to dust build up on contacts. Could there be dust on the button contacts?

I think it's bang out of order that Numark have not helped you out.

NS7>CDX .HMMMMMMM NUMARK ok the cdx were a pile of shhhhhh my brother had a pair. ok now ns7 im not suprised. good luck finding parts and fixxing it yourself. ill stick to my good ol 1200s tcv and as for my soundcard hercules rmx. running hp dv6000 3gigs x86 win7 vdj6.1. intel dual core.and yes i did some registry edits.
