The movie is horrible regardless of its relation to the books.

If you're viewing this trailer because you're thinking about watching this movie, don't listen to the people comparing it to the books. Whether the movie did the book justice or not, the film is still a great film and I recommend watching it to anyone.

As an Australian steeped in Bushranging history - the film is not great. I advise people to read all the books they can to get the broadest view of Kelly.

This is a good example of bad execution, the film could never do the hero credit.

one of the worst makes of this " legend " ledger was dreadful, really read the character of kelly badly, or do we blame the director or writers. whatever as bad as jagger was in the part,this effort was bad

When he was younger my dad was talking with his dads friend in the old Melbourne gaol/jail and handled this old armour sitting on the table nearby with the scraps, it was Ned's.
