Michigan list the top 10 in highest DVA's and the reason being that deer are bred for purpose of sports hunting and its a business. Read here

They always use money as a excuse to have so many deer provided for recreational hunting ignoring human death and pain and suffering to the animals. Plus CWD can kill the less fortunate at the pantries where hunters"give" their kill to. All ignorance and greed with no regards to LIFE AT ALL. CWD disease first spread because of Elk and Deer farming for trophy deer and via use of supplement feeding rendered animals and still they are using salt licks to grow large antlered deer http://www.deerminerals.com/ Which can not only spread the CWD but with the food plot continue to increase in herd size.

now try googling "food plots and "hunting". THERE ARE ACRES AND ACRES OF FOOD PLOTS. Hunters teaming up with land ownder, hunters buying land to grow food crops to creat more large antlered. Its truely amazing I look at the photos of food crops everywhere and say to myself its no wonder we have so many deer problems. Its not the deer's faults its the hunting industry and their greed for large antlered deer to use for sports killing.

Plus many of the food crops are soybean and filled with nutrients meaning more fawn births plus they even add supplement feeding (some states banned because of CWD).

This argument is only valid if you stop hunting after you reduce the population - then the low numbers would rebound explosively and then be a problem again. By maintaining the population through proper hunting management, the herd stays healthy and numbers are not excessive & harmful to themselves or their suroundings. Hunting makes sense.

That is never going to happen there is no 12 month killing innocent wildlife you think the non-killing public would tolerate that ? Plus the intention of DNR making mucho money is buck deer with the antlers all buffed and thick so little cowardly men can destroy them to make themselves feel "important and "big". Killing animals for fun and amusement make not "sense" is pure sickness and their action is no different then serial killers who enjoy killing humans for amusement and sports.

i understand that your are against hunting, i myself am a hunter but i understand why you would be against it for many reasons, however i believe that there is no problem with hunting for food, but there are many poachers and hunters who hunt for trophies, which doesn't make much sense to me, and hunters along with hikers and all outdoor enthusiasts who are not responsible enough to clean up after themselves, and leave garbage around i think that that is disgusting. what is your opinion on this?

Based on this logic, why would there ever be any concern with a complete decline of any animal population? There should be no concern of any animal ever becoming extinct. This says to me that the more that are killed, the more that will be produced. Then, the population will remain stable. Does this sound real to you?
