I have this on VHS from when I was like 3 and i still watch it every Christmas. It's the first Nutcracker I saw and i love it! It is so different!

We go every year, and it seems it is more exciting with each season. I already have my balcony box seats for 2011... I can hardly wait!

This was the first version of The Nutcracker i have seen. I still love it more than any other! I bought the movie on Itunes. It will forever be on my Ipod

@danamdkny I still have the VHS tape although I played it so many times that the audio died. Probably because it was the first version I've seen, but it's the best. None other compares. One day I will see it live :)

Never ceases to amaze me how PNB hasn't changed a single aspect of their production since it first began and still maintains a steady success rate. Other companies usually overhaul their sets and the choreography every few years to keep things fresh, but the PNB knew they had everything perfect from the get go.
