Mine is exactly like that!

@Jpressman8 Hmm. In all of the Federal manuals i've seen 120-0-120 service was black/whitte/black.
-
@Jpressman8 Yes, basically everything runs on 240v but some bathrooms are equipped with 115v shaver sockets (there is a transformer in the back) and everything is 50hz unless you have a frequency converter. 3 phase is generally only 415v, but I have a 3 phase 240 service pulled into my house! Only one phase is used but all 3 have their respective fuses and such, they had to send out a specialist tech to change them from the old cast iron ones to plastic ones lol.

@CJ19Productions You from UK? Everything is 240v 50hz correct? Here in the US they run 120V 240v 60hz
lights and wall outlets run on the 120v .Appliances and other things run 240v by combining the 2 120v lines (Red and Black) (the wires do not wire to each other, but hook into source input) and a Neutral or common (white wire)
-
@Jpressman8 Ah right. I couldn't tell ya, bearing in mind i'm not from the states and your wiring colour code is very different
-
@CJ19Productions It is a 240V. You can see it's running 2 120v hots and a neutral. As I said I was not paying attention.
-
@Jpressman8 It can't have been a 240 on 120, the pitch is way too high for that.
-
@thunderboltlover No Clay Jones is going to restore it.
-
Thanks Andy. Maybe next time right?
@CJ19Productions The wires on the siren may be that color, but the ones you see in the video are the service wires. You can't really see the siren wires. I should have gotten some close ups, but I did'nt think of it.
