"Here is how the average American looks at this I have no health insurance and no retirement."
You never answered my question. Why don't you have health insurance and a retirement plan? I can't wait to see you cleaning tables at McDonald's when you are 90 years old. Thats if you can find the tables. Either that or live off welfare of others when you get old and can't work anymore.
You have great points and you should support others like you..such as the UAW. Give them 15 Billion Dollars of your money and when you are down and out you can walk into the UAW lunch room and say..hey I need to pay for my
RV..how about a donation? See where that gets you.

Average Americans do have health insurance and some type of retirement plan. Why don't you? Lack of planning for your future shows little responsibility on your part. Worked hard for over 35 years for the benefits I have and a pension. What? I am not entitled to that? BTW, I was not employed by the auto industry.
I disagree. Cadillac gave the world the first car with the conventional clutch and gearbox combination as we know it today. Chevrolet produced the first sports car with run flat tires. Chrysler has produced one of the first SUVs that can run on electricity alone. The benefits of bailing out the auto industry outweigh the disadvantages. That's my last comment! Good debate.
The issue is the not the 'SUV' per se, it's the fuel it runs on. If the Big Three were given the bail out and time to change to super-hybrids or lithium battery cars then the SUV would not be a problem .I still maintain that a great deal of cars produced by Japan's auto industry is not half as good as what we have over here.

YOu are WAY behind.
It doesnt MATTER about your circumstance. THEY are ognna take EVERYTHING off EVERYBODY because that is what hey do.
Next year there will be a different story.
We have had stories since the bible was forced on us, by people form the middle bloody east !!!
Our land is NOT their home. They are from ISRAEL, in heart of not body.
And they ALL meet in Israel to decide our future work load,.
THEY are the slave masters, we are the slaves.
THAT is how it is !!

Again..you are so right...and dont you think that I should enjoy what little benefits I do have and not be forced to pay for the big
Union success stories who are now
beating down my door? Hmmm? Their Unions have done such a great job at long term planning that everywhere they go the industries they
touch have left the country.

Its been 35 years since the Energy Crisis
of 1974. GM cars have less fuel efficiency
then back then. There is no excuse.
American Ingenuity and invention are behind
Japanese success..we invent..they buy the patents etc. But FIRST the American inventors
approach GM, who tells them to get lost.
