@mrblackout2000 Agree Religion is a fraud. Jesus is not Religion, Christianity is Not Religion. That's the part of truth you are missing. There are some (churches, organizations, etc) who have falsely misled many by turning Christianity into a Religion or false cult but that's the catch, you need to differentiate the true God versus Religion because this can save you from eternal torment in Hell, without Jesus there's no future but torment in Hell, nothing less.

It's because God wants you to LIVE that He sent Christ to die on your behalf, to be your righteousness, so that your failure to keep the law in its entirety would not result in your eternal death. Do u really think we've never prayed for god to reveal himself or at least some evidence? We've done these things countless times thru our Xian period. He doesn't exist, just as prayers are not answered. Ever seen a Downs Syndrome child healed? Never!

The human body's incredible design? You mean god giving us one pipe to eat & breathe with, which kills thousands each year from choking? Is this designer the same one who gave us the Plague, Small Pox, etc.? You see the Cosmos as designed, yet it's filled with deadly Radiation, Comets & Black Holes?

Maybe u should study both sides of the equation. And btw, we have done all those things U suggest...B4 you were born. It was my studies of scripture & early Judaism that made me atheist.

I was just thinking about the most religious person in our neighborhood where I grew up 30 yrs ago who wouldn't allow his kids to sled on Sunday. This same person was a car dealer and I caught his son rolling back speedometers with a drill. Guess what his response was..."God will keep the car going".

I had my house built 15 years ago by a Christian. He praised the word of God while building houses and not reporting the income. He wanted me to lie to the Income Tax People.

@mtpwrstroke Seriously tart, look at everything. Our sun and how our earth orbits it in just the perfect way to support life on this earth. Look at the human body, the incredible design. The possibility of all these things happening by chance is non existent. You try so hard to disprove the God who created and loves you. If you really want to be subjective, read the whole bible through and through. And pray for God to reveal himself to you. If its all a lie, what do you have to lose......

@edwardtarte Yes, much easier to ignore parts and pick out other parts to pick apart without looking at the whole truth. We are all sinners, whether you believe that or not. In the old testament living by the law is what saved people.But we are no longer saved by the law, but by grace through faith. Jesus dies and paid the penalty once and for all. The world is only around 7000 years old, and we have not evolved, but adapted. You were created, everything has design, and a designer.
