Video from a mountaintop removal mining protest Tuesday, June 23, 2009 in Naoma, W.Va. highlighting some of the juvenile antics of Massey Supporters.

Several hundred protesters participated in a rally outside Marsh Fork Elementary school, which sits about 300 feet away from a Massey Energy coal processing plant.

31 people were arrested.

Uneducated people can cause the greatest amount of chaos. Let the miners do their jobs, the way they have for generations. Seriously...if I thought I was doing anything "wrong", I wouldn't be doing it, but coal mining is good for our state, and our country. We need these jobs. And don't give me the "ruining the land", and "poisoning the water" arguments. I can prove them wrong over and over...with facts...not the environmentalists lies.

Jeff, I completely agree. As you can see, most of the comments for this video are of the strictly 'uneducated' category. We do, and will continue to need miners as long as there are products to make and people to feed and house.

I can't wait to be convinced that, as you say, all environmentalists are totally liars. I mean, they were totally wrong about DDT, thalidomide, and the dangers of nuclear weapons. I really look forward to your 'proven' arguments- I'm on the edge of my seat here.

Its called a counter protest sorry that is what this is called. As Americans we have the right to do this. The miners are childish how about the so called treehuggers.
