On January 29th eBay announced they:

lowered their Insertion Fee by $.05-$.80 (depending on your starting price) majority of small sellers will be $.05-$.15
lowered some of the other "extras" (that most sellers don't even use anyway)
made Gallery free (FINALLY)about time they give us a little break

BUT

INCREASED the Final Value Fee (FVF) from 5.25% to 8.75% (a 66% FVF increase) INCREASED/DOUBLED the Reserve Fee from $1.00 to $2.00 and made it NON-REFUNDABLE (used to be refundable if your reserve price was met)now, they get the fee everytime tou use it/sell it or not???
INCREASED the FVF on stores from 10% to 12%
Is taking away the seller's right to leave neutral or negative feedback to buyers who deserve it (buyers will only be able to receive positive feedback when the new policy goes into effect)No seller will ever be able to leave a NEG for any buyer, EVER AGAIN???!!!!

AND

PayPal WILL HOLD payment funds until either the buyer has left positive Feedback or 21 days have passed without a claim if they (PayPal) determine that the risk of dissatisfied buyers is high with you, the seller. So in other words, as a smaller seller, they will make you wait upto 21 days for the money you were paid for an item to show up in your Paypal account...So, customers will be able to have their items in their possession for well over 2 weeks before you have actually seen the payment in your account...
SO WHO'S HANDS IS ALL YOUR MONEY IN FOR 3 WEEKS...DRAWING INTEREST??? Hmmmmmm.....

And RECENTLY Ebay In Australia Now MAKES IT MANDATORY For ALL USERS To ONLY USE PAYPAL!!!!!

It appears the fakes on ebay, which are returned to PayPal, 'for destruction' are instead being sold to parties who in turn resell them so that they may turn back up on ebay.

This has been mentioned repeatedly & ignored or deleted from ebay forums for at least 2-3 months

The phone company (bell) and all it's affiliates have all but died out because of their reputation for ripping people off and now ebay is doing the same thing and people are starting to talk about ebay, and not in a good way. mark my wors assholes your end is coming soon and you will go the way of all the other greedy companies like Bell and AOL and so on. Don't shit on people because we are all connected by the common illness that is big business. WE ARE FED UP!

eBay buyers can leave shit feedback for buyer. I just found a site that allows and explains how to post neg feedback to a buyers account and even a url. Its located at: shisters (dot) com

@k1xter the problem with that response is, everyone has a legitimate reason to be upset! They were selling on eBay! Therefore it IS their business.

ebay policy changes have made it impossible to sell there, without fear of being scammed by criminal buyers, who blackmail the sellers.

eBay refuses to get it. So, until they do, the boycott stands!

Btw, Im mostly a buyer, so Im not losing much. But, it would be nice to be able to sell if i need to. Cant risk it tho. Not these rules & fees.

EBay didn't realize that the small sellers are their buyers! Small sellers sell their stuff, and buy larger stuff - but no more! How stupid can JHoe be? The eBay board must Fire Him NOW!! Their stock is in the toilet.
