  • I was able to add a broader and more complete perspective in my book of our journey, Inheriting the Trade, in which 3 chapters are devoted to our time in Cuba. The acknowledgment of the traumatic impact on African people, and the need for repair and healing, lies at the core of our ongoing work.

  • All this has been is a travelouge, what about the exploitation of the millions of Africans that were exploited. Sounds to me like you had a nice holiday at their expense. I saw the documentary and I had hoped you might have imparted a more compassionate perspective.
