... Things were not as slow often back in 1992 as they had been at times in 1989 to early 91, they had speeded up a bit by that time, and I loved slower house and dance so much. It's another reason why your song appealed to me so much.
Again, it's brilliant for me to hear from you here. I and many would love to hear much more of you in music. Really good regards to you.

Hello, it is lovely to 'hear' of you here. It's your version I knew and loved (I actually got mixed up when coming across this version recently, because I remember Jody Watley from the early 90s as well as your song with N-Sync, and I wasn't listening to music much around 2000).
I'll always remember your version with N-Sync. Instantly anyone who heard it recognised it as a club classic - earlier garage soul house still firmly in the banging house camp. ....

In 1992 in New Jersey on the Voices from the Garden LP (NSYNC Records). I sang the original version. I am Tangie Reese (now Cobb)

Hi David...it's Tangie. I absolutely enjoyed recording this song with you and the gang back in the day. It brings back so many memories when I hear it...it feels like yesterday and still takes my breath away...SMOOCHIES!!!

this is pimp music!

... I mean, by Jody Watley, not the original version.

When was this made first. Do you know, please?

@jsumm54421 I like your original version better ;) Your NJ-style one is more hard-hitting and has more soul imo.
This is hot. I made the original version on the N-Sync Inc label Voices Of The Garden EP. I like this cover version.

I did the original version which was sung by Tangie Reese with Viola Sykes on background vocals. Martin Davis wrote this song and did a lounge version that was never released. We remixed the lounge version and our version went to press and was on rotation with Louie at the Sound Factory Bar. Louie eventually did this remix, and a fine one, indeed.

Fantastic, it must have been great working with such talented artists, you still in the industry?
