Part I of Reid's 2000 monumental solo guitar piece with Esus partial capo (from the CD "Guitar Voyages." This performance is from his 2003 concert video "One April Night." The two-handed tapping bagpipes effect is his own invention, that has appeared in a number of pieces since the 1986 "Minstrel's Dream" (now out of print) recording.
He reminds us of the passion for beauty and the endless creativity of humankind, and we are all the better for his tender devotion to the muse. Thank you, Harvey.

My wife and I became entranced many years ago. Harvey is our timeline. We will grow old listening to this.

Harvey has a creative streak matched and maybe surpassed by his extraordinary playing on any instrument I've ever heard him play. His multimedia project, "The Song Train" with wife, Joyce Andersen, is a work of genius. You can't go wrongg with either Harvey or Joyce individually of together.

It requires a very fine "feel" for the instrument in order to accomplish this. I really like Harry's playing abilities here. Beautiful.
