yeah well, alot of the race tracks back in the day had guardrails as part of the wall...heck back in the 60s most of the banked turns, the walls were the guardrails!

Was that a GUARDRAIL I saw? Now that's safe! A 200mph "Michael Waltrip Bristol" style crash was begging to happen.
