I was at this concert, Clarence Clemmons was Bruce's bodyguard. When they went into the crowd Bruce was wearing a cordless mic. (unheard of at the time) & Clarence followed him playing the sax up the centre isle & they mingled with the crowd. Awesome!!!!! Then the rest of the world discovered them.

I am hoping to buy tickets this saturday to see him start the tour in Atlanta. I really hope he plays this song or Racing in the Street. I have loved Bruce for 40 of my 43 years and he continues to be consistent in his presentation of the country and life among the blue collar people in ALL of his songs. That is why his music will still be around 100 years from now!!!

this is by far the best live version I've heard of this song. best vocals. great emphasis on the lone guitar and that refrain of keyboard/glock.. the true to the album arrangement is also the best. thanks for posting.. oh and this was performed in my hometown!!!
