I don't know how anyone can watch this performance and complain about Kanye's pitch when he sings. First, he's a rapper/producer, not a singer, and second, Kanye goes off of emotion more than anything, he's bound to get a little out of control with his music at times. Bottom line, he's a musical genius, and probably the best performer alive.

@howardmoon1234 I agree, i wish he would of got some back up singers, and stayed quiet when Bon Iver was singing. But its the feeling even though the notes sound bad, the feeling of it is great. He Admitted he can't sing, but the notes was in him. That's why hes the greatest artist alive, he cant sing cant play piano is not the best rapper lyrically, but look at this performance.

@howardmoon1234 he is a rapper/producer! not a singer, there's a different talent behind his performance so you can't fault him for the missed notes. even if a good singer was rapping and yelling into the microphone verse after verse, it'd be hard for them to hit notes too, and Kanye admitted half way through the show that he is singing to express his emotion even though he knows he isn't a good singer.

his energy, passion, and theatrics/set up is what makes this a great performance.

@howardmoon1234 To be fair he is raping in most of the songs,no one really expects him to hit high notes on his raps. But yes he sings poorly on the choruses. Its like he brilliantly wrote and directed a film but can't act in it
