Violator days. Martin's lyrics and composition is perfect in this song. Alan's work on this song is awesome. Dave's voice is pure pleasure to hear at all times, and yes, he doesn't do his usual moves here and not his best performance, but that can be overlooked. I love Dave. I adore Martin. i love Depeche Mode.

I had the pleasure of attending a lot of their shows and for some reason this song has always stuck in my head. It's just the way they put it all together! Martin is a great master talent! Dave is different by far! You can tell from his performance in this video. Andrew is just awesome! Thanks for posting!

Regarding his voice, on this night he was having issues with the sound and was constantly making gestures towards stage left. If you watch the videos you will see him a few times making gestures and walking over to talk to someone probably one of the sound techs. I was there sounded way better in person trust me ;-)
