A Soldiers Tale Of Vietnam Song (unplugged) Writer Unknown Sung by Jeff Cooper

I did this before so this is a remake. In my family we all got drafted in the 60s & 70s. My oldest brother was the first and had this on a tape recorder when he got back (thankfully). I never did know who did the original or even if they made it back to the World but it was just before the Tet when they were at Tan Son Nhat Air Base with the 82nd Airborne, the recording was interrupted by the attack but I think he was finished with the song.

Very good song! My father-in-law was in la drang in 65 with 1/7 Cav. He was 1 of the ones who didn't make it out. I went in in '72 and missed Nam by 2 weeks. I talked with and worked with a lot of people who were there and decided I did not miss anything. Also thanks for serving. (retired in '92)

My Father served in the early years of Vietnam...many men and women served and gave their lives for our Freedom. These men and women are not forgotten and they are certainly heros in my eyes...Thank you all!!
