As I say, i've played Megaman's before but never very seriously (or long), and I think evidence of such is clear.

Despite the ending rage, I did go back and finish (plus enjoy) the game a couple of days later though.

A solid testament to that gameplay is king, as even 16 years later, the mechanics that make a platformer both fun and challenging are as good now as they were then.
