Tera was the silver medalist, finishing second all-around, in the 2010 Level 5 State Championships. She was second on bars (missing first by five hundreds of a point!) and fourth on vault. Her scores: vault: 9.0, bars: 9.3, beam: 8.45 (the beam judges were gving everyone low scores), floor: 8.825 and all-around: 35.55. Her all-around score was two tenths away from the gold medalist.
Tera was actually tied for second with her all-around score; however, she won the tie-breaker and was the official silver medalist based on her higher event score (bars).
Slow Motion version.
Most judges cut the girls some slack. The beam judges seem like they were giving fair scores, because I would have only scored her a few tenths higher. She lost a few tenths on her split leap (fell out of it, wasn't fluid, she rocked), had a few flexed feet, some wobbles, and it's hard to tell in slow-motion, but it didn't seem like she held her handstands long enough. It was a gorgeous exercise, judges just don't seem to take all deductions regularly. She is amazing though!

she is rly good:) She got a nice beam score, but i agree with you, she should have gotten at least a 9. I got an 8.65 and my routine is not as good as hers;) Keep up the good work!
