Let's go back to those early days,when coctails were served in the small "First class upperdeck" of the 100 series...

Pan Am was actually the most innovative with the space, using it as The Clipper Dining Room. During boarding, the flight attendants would as passengers if they would be interested in eating upstairs in the dining room. It had 4 tables of 4 for a total of 16 guests. If was very common for passengers to sit there all night chatting, drinking cocktails, and playing cards right up to the point of breakfast in the morning.

Those was when the oil gas was so cheap and able to do some luxury time while on airline.
Now, there is not very many nonway until they find other renew fuel then they probably will have luxury again.

Heel gek, surrealistisch bijna, zeker met de partygeluiden en acoustische piano achtergrondmuziek - soundtrack op het einde...dat deed me echt even aan Dali denken!

HEEL CORRECT Barend...! Dat heb je heel goed gehoord..zeker ook als pianist he? :) Dat geluid bij 't einde heb ik zelf opgenomen, het is afkomstig van een dinner in de Caribbean Hotel te Curacao, (daarvoor Hilton Hotel) En ik vond die pianist altijd GEWELDIG...voor zijn "pianobar" stijl muziek. Je moet weten dat hij veel leek op errol Garner...! Hij heet Raul Rosales en was Douane ambtenaar van beroep. Zou nu hier wonen,ik wil hem dolgraag nogmaals filmen voordat......(!)

Tegenwoordig is het ONBETAALBAAR... zulke dinners in een "FIRST CLASS"...
Redenen waarom heel heel weinig airlines met een First Class vliegen,die ruimtes zijn allemaal een iets lagere "Businessclass" geworden... Bedankt voor je reactie!
