Harmonica Orchestra @ SPCC Extravaganza

Extravaganza was a 90th anniversary event of St. Paul's Co-educational College taking place in AsiaWorld-Expo - Hong Kong's biggest exhibition centre. The SPCC Harmonica Orchestra, which has a good fame in the field, performed on that night Dvorak's The American and Nikolai's Flight of Bumble Bee with Phoebus Chan.

is this a common type of orchestra in hong kong? i'm from the States and this type of thing would be completely ridiculous in the US. people would enjoy it as a novelty, but it isn't the norm, and it wouldn't be taken too seriously.

also, this is not "flight of the bumblebee." this is "String Quartet #12: The American" by Antonin Dvorak. :P

I was there from 1976 to 1983.
