The trailer for our new movie release: The Boy in China. The amazing story of a six year old boy from Phoenix, Arizona whose dreams of becoming a Kungfu master lead him to the birthplace of martial arts - the legendary Shaolin Temple in China. His father must now face a heartbreaking decision and follow his son to China leaving the mother behind in America... a choice few parents could ever imagine. Meanwhile, Andre is undergoing long hours of tough training at the hands of the Shaolin monks that would make seasoned martial artists bow with respect. Forward to nine years of age and Andre steps up his martial arts training in one giant leap when he is accepted into China's top wushu school in Beijing. Known as the top gun of Chinese martial arts, this wushu school produced the movie star Jet Li who became world champion while at the school. However Andre quickly comes unstuck when he sees the extremely high calibre of his Chinese classmates!! Two years at the Shaolin temple could not prepare him for what he must now face - the supreme test of his endurance and perseverance to graduate from this elite martial arts school. • he needs to study under a master, not enroll in a wushu academy

  • Yes China is a great place to train. But you don't NEED to go there. There are fantastic teachers here in the US where if the student is dedicated and cultivates their talent, they will be champions. Going to China has nothing to do with it.

  • @Yoshi1x8 I'm well aware of who Jet Li is what Shaolin Monks do. I started martial arts w/ Shaolin KF. But if you're saying that going to an academy where your class size is like 200 vs a master who has a class size of like 20....which is better??

Shaolin isn't the ORIGIN because Chinese Martial Arts has existed before the establishment of Shaolin Temple. Bruce Lee didn't go anywhere, he lived in HK where else is he going to train kungfu? America??

  • Why should you goto china to learn kung fu?

    1. People don't make fun of you like they do in America

2.ITs the ORIGIN of Kung fu (Bruce lee even went china.... specifically HongKong)

3.It gives you more experience its not like US were 85% of us are over weight -_-

4.More Enviormental although there is smog in some locations

Its your choice take the opperitunity

  • @DopoNotte Yeah but its better to goto the ORIGIN of martail arts you can't find legit shaolin temples in the U.S masters in U.S] are not easy to find and NO MMA masters don't count its a sport XD

  • @iexcalibui2 Jet li went to a wushu academy and he is not only an actor but also a master ._. and shaolin monks are masters to <_< if you kept watching

  • God, there's gingers everywhere.

  • one redhead in the middle of a billion chinese kids , that will be awesome , i want to watch this movies

  • they totally pushed him to his limits hahahaha the kid as crying in the wushu class

  • That's my dream too, and that makes me hate my country , what a story! I'm too old now .I wish i could grow up in a place like this , that is a lifestyle that i would love . all i can do is practice kung fu here.

  • Lucky kid.I'd still give it all up to go
