How to Properly use your Radar Detector to Enhance/Encourage Safe Driving

For individuals new to radar detectors, laser jammers, or other tools for defense, such as Veil, it is important to understand how to properly use them as a tool to enhance your situational awareness, not replace it.

As you learn to drive with your defense arsenal, it is crucially important that the most important detector is your brain. By becoming increasingly aware of your surroundings, by being aware of what's ahead of you, behind you, or even to your sides, by looking farther down the road, not tailgate or follow other vehicles too closely (push drivers who do not pull-over from the fast lane, as they should) so you can't see what's ahead sufficiently, you will become a safer, more responsible driver that hopefully will set an example for others around you who may not adhere to the same safe driving practices.

One obvous thing you are doing in this video that would tip off a cop to nail ya...driving in the left lane when not immediately passing a vehicle...especially at 1:18

@Calsonic66 He test detectors. Hard wiring would be a waste of time for him. He literally has every high end radar detector.
