I'm having this done on the 18th. Scared to death, but I have no choice. I have had glaucoma for 15 years and now the drops arent working anymore. And NO, pot has done nothing to CURE it but it does make me feel goooooood.

@BoxingPride My son has congenital glaucoma which means he had the disease at birth could not exactly make him smoke herbs at 3 weeks old lol lol .But he will be 18 in december of this year i dont care if i have to go to jail i will grow the thing myself because he had this ahmed shunt done 4 years ago and suffered so much . I am going to teach him how to medicate himself with the pot .

@BoxingPride My father has glaucoma while he lived in south america he controle is pressure with pot .when he came to north america he had to use the drop according to him did not do the job has well has the herbs .

I am 23, i got diagnosed with bilateral uveitic glaucoma 3 years ago, my eye pressure was 75 in my left eye and i had to have this operation done in emergency. After the operation my eye pressure has been consistently normal for over 2 years now. This operation is a sight-saver and i am very grateful to all doctors/surgeons involved. Before you’re committed to have this surgery done, please do more research. Today I am taking my mother to a third ophthalmologist if efforts to have this valve removed. It has been in place now for over six months, three surgeries later, has done nothing to regulate her pressures, and her body will not accept the valve. Next step once this is reversed will be finding a malpractice lawyer.

wow. this helps calm me down. I have to have a catoract removed because a bb injury. but it tore my iris away from my drainage system so 40 percent of my eye drain is destroyed. so i am at risk of glaucoma, and yet another damn surgery. this sucks......absolutely effin sucks......only 17, full life ahead of me, and i have to put up with this shit for the rest of my life, just becuase another person can keep his muzzle away from my face or at least put the saftey on and trigger off his finger.

I did do my research.... I know the facts.... Did you know there are different types of Glaucoma? My husband had Angle Closure Glaucoma. That means his Eye could not drain any fluid at all no drops, pot or any meds would have fixed it.... Surgery was a must.... Pot can decrease the eye pressure but it DOES NOT cure the problem.... Wouldn't you rather have the problem fixed than have to take medicine every day of your life?
