Quite interested in buying a Tele, can you nail tones similar to John 5's or is his modded or a lot of pedals included etc?

@28mistert very achievable sound, in most of his clinics he uses the very same setup. His pedal board at this clinic included a noise cancellation pedal, a distortion pedal and a tuner. I have a squier J5 tele that I got at this clinic and it is a very neat guitar!

@pokehacker im actually a guitarist man look on my channel i got some covers i played on two of my own songs...

but its just the time you spend practicing i have 2 years playing and on the metronome i can play the classic 1234 exercise at 100 or 105 in a good day

and 3 months ago i couldnt really play at 85 i mean its just how much you put into it

i try to play my best and do the best i can to be a decent player i might be a crappy player but at least i know i give it my best

@twistedkarm yeah i mean you've got a real point and there's something i've heard of recently on rock band that does make the guitar version more similar to playing a real guitar. it's called pro mode and apparently you can use a real guitar. not some five button one. i'll bet you that anyone who plays it and manages to ace a song could play it in real life. but once again it's far from anything i could ever do. my skill is definitley not high enough to play real guitar

and opinions are subjective cause are based on just one point of view

im an asshole most of the time and some people hate my opinions but thats the beauty of free will

im my opinion they suck but still they are able to do stuff on the guitar that at least at the moment i cant even dream of doing

@twistedkarm ok.. first off not everyone who plays it thinks its easier than playing a guitar. anyone who's seen a live show knows its nowhere near as hard as playing a real guitar as i said in a previous comment. in all respects guitar hero is an incredibly fun game but i will admit it has produced some misconceptions.. but if you really think that then you should include rock band in the category as well as it is based off the same concept.

@twistedkarm i guess it's all in the opinion. i mean there's about 3 songs of their's that i do like. the others i havent heard. in my honest opinion they're an ok band. definitley not the best though.

the only way i would pay to see them is to throw shit at them

going to one of their shows is a fucking waste of money

and im not just talking about in the game

my friend and i went to see them (he payed my ticket)

man they screwed up all over the place every 3 notes one of them fucked up something

and dont even get me started on that fuckface lame excuse of vocalist they have

they just just there is nothing good about them

@twistedkarm albeit there is a twisted side to this. believe it or not dragonforce could not play their own song on gh3 but besides that you are right. it takes more skill for real guitar playing than guitar hero.
